男性中心であるタンゴの世界において、20世紀から21世紀にかけて活躍した女性による作品の価値を見出すべく、女性演奏家の仲間たちとグループを結成したカミラ・アリヴァ。
ミロンガ会場のダンスフロアでは、もっと女性作曲家や女性ヴォーカルのタンダがあっていい、もっと役割転換があっていい、もっと女性のDJや異端なDJがいていい、もっと ”コレクティブ” なバンドがあっていい、つまり、誰もが活躍できる場があっていい・・・作曲、編曲 演奏、歌そしてレコーディングまで、すべて女性が手掛けたタンゴ・アルバム「MUJERES - おんなたち」には、そんな彼女たちの思いが込められています。
CAMILA ARRIVA with her team of female musicians presents the album “MUJERES” which comprises tangos composed, arranged, played, sung and recorded by women. The goal is to highlight the value of female work throughout the two centuries of the genre's existence, at a moment characterized by the rupture with the patriarchy that dominates the tango world.
